Part 1. Warsaw
Meira, a Jewish girl, escapes from the Warsaw ghetto to find her father in the hills after he had escaped to join the resistance. Meira dies after she accompanies her father and his group who blow up a Nazi supply train. Part 2. The Return Meira is reborn as Rachel to a Jewish family during the middle of WWII in America. Her mother leaves her with the doctor who birthed her. He takes her to his family for two months because Rachel’s grandfather is on his deathbed. Rachel grows up with a sense of fear, a desire to know her family's history and legacy and to understand a deeper connection to why she is here. She marries an alcoholic, has a child and moves to the Island of Hawaii. She is an adventurer, a seeker of truth and spiritual freedom. She has a strong urge to be of service and to do good, even though bad things have happened to her and she has made bad choices. |
Part 3. Moving Forward
Rachel discovers her spiritual path and her personal choices for growth, change and freedom. She divorces the alcoholic and moves to Maui. She leaves the comfort of the island life, after many years, to explore and develop her next passage, both personal and professional. |
